Analytical Chemistry

Our research interests are directed into designing, making, and testing various "nano-structured photo electrical conversion devices" suchasdye-, quantumdot-,ortheir hybrid-sensitized solar cells composed of conducting electrodes, basic chemical chromophores(moleculardyes, polymers, inorganic quantum dots, or etc.), electron-donating/accepting materials(redoxcouples/metaloxides), or emerging new stuffs(grapheneor various nano materials). Motivated by nature's inspiration and chemical intuition, we are pursuing to find a new solution or break through in realizing highly-efficient and robust photon-to-current conversion chemical-complexes by utilizing a variety of chemical compounds and state-of-the-artanalytical tools.
